106 & Park Presents: Generation Gospel

Hey is anyone else excited about BET's newest show to premier. The 106 & Park spin off, Generation Gospel, from what I've heard is sure to be yet another great link to reaching souls. Now with keeping in mind that our mission as singers and songwriters (etc.) is to reach souls, I do believe that it will be a success. Now I have to be honest though, when I first heard of this show I immediately thought "Oh Lord, what are these industry people doing???", but in doing some research I've learned that this show has lots of potential to show the collective conscience that it is more than just music and singing, it is our way of life.
Already they have Angel Taylor of Trin-i-ti 5:7 and Jor'el Quinn of 21:03 as the hosts with several other artists and gospel personalities as correspondents. Here's the line up...

(PR Newswire) 106 & PARK PRESENTS: GENERATION GOSPEL Lifestyle Segments:

Churchin' with JJ -- The actor-comedian finds the funny in all things about the church.

Tye's Tidbits -- Stellar Award winner Tye Tribbett presents the latest in news and happenings in the gospel world.

Sellin' You the Bizness -- SUNDAY BEST finalist Jermaine Sellers is our man on the street, talking to real people and covering hot topics from New Year's resolutions to the new President.

Lifestyles with Kiki -- From fashion to fitness, Stellar Award and Dove Award winner Kiki Sheard brings a fresh, energetic and spiritual perspective to issues that relate to her peers.

The Underground -- Stellar Award nominee Irocc brings viewers the latest trends happening in the underground and the holy hip hop church movement.

106 & PARK PRESENTS: GENERATION GOSPEL is executive produced by Marilyn Gill and Holly Carter. Connie Orlando (VP of Development) and Eugene Caldwell (VP of Production) are supervising producers, and Stephen Hill (President of Programming) serves as executive in charge for BET.

For more on 106 & PARK PRESENTS: GENERATION GOSPEL, please visit www.bet.com/generationgospel.

The first episode will start at 12pm on January 11, 2009. Let me know what yall think!!!!

Weekend Recap!!!!

Hey everyone!!!! I pray that everyone had a great weekend. I know I did!...Here goes...

Friday night, I went out to my stylist Myckel Cortez Smith's Bday Bash at the aka Hotel in Times Square. I had lots and lots of fun mixing and mingling and I was even put on the spot to sing. God blessed and we ended the night at Texas BBQ's in Times square where we stuffed our faces with wings, coleslaw, salad and biscuits. LOL Great times, Great food.

All day Saturday I was in my pre songwriting class, conducted by my wonderfully anointed vocal coach. SHE IS AMAZING!!!! Ilana Martin everyone!!!! If you don't have a coach and need one, please google her and I promise you will not be let down. Ilana Martin and the Vocal Workout Music School.

Now Sunday was the icing on the cake of my weekend. I was invited by a coworker of mines to come sing at her church. It was such a special experience for me because it was a Chinese Church. God is so wonderful and amazing!!!! It's so easy to remain in your own little circle of churches or friends, but when you step out of that comfort zone and allow God to show you the fullness of Him..... Wow... That's when your view of Him is just enlarged. We all talk about how big God is, but I think sometimes we (at least i did) don't really understand the actual magnitude of Him!!!! To worship and lift God up with a totally different culture was so amazing and encouraging. They completely embodied the meaning of showing the love of Christ. Afterwards they fed us and sent us off with love and a bunch of goodies!!!!!! I had such a blast and I look forward to venturing out to different countries and nations and walks of life to experience God in every corner of the earth.

This Saturday December 27, 2008 I'll be in New Jersey at the Hadassa Christian Lounge.

Praise Him Saints!!!!!

Praise Him yall!!! I hope you all have been doing great! God is definitely awesome. I've been going through a little bit but my Jesus is still faithful! I've been emotional because I've been dealing with a lot of personal issues, in my home, at the job, in my career... but through it I feel the Lord telling me to stand still and see His salvation. As you all may or may not know, I am a HUGE Vickie Winans fan. I have a concert of hers on DVD and I was watching it last night, and in the middle of her selections she stopped and talked and she mentioned a song that she'd sung in the past called No Cross No Crown. And she basically talked about how you're gonna go through sometimes and no matter what you do people WILL talk about you. You have to go through some things in order to get to the blessing, in order to get to the promise, in order to get to your goal. That was just a confirmation because on Sunday my vocal coach said that this is the road to becoming successful. Long suffering. It's one fruit of the spirit that we tend to want to over look or bypass; but if everything was just given to us easy, we'd have no relationship with the Savior. There would be no need for Him because everything would be good; but because we suffer, we learn to love, to depend, to seek and trust HIM!!! Glory to God.
I've been sad and discouraged, but through all of this I KNOW that I will reap if I faint not. All I have is Jesus, and all I need is Jesus. Though this is not a blog posting of something fun, or an event but this is real life. This is my walk with Jesus until we meet. I just want to encourage you that as long as you live you will go through something that doesn't feel good. You WILL hurt, but if you keep your trust in Jesus and faithfully follow HIM, it will all be worth it when He says Well done, my good and faithful servant. There is a key that I've learned recently and it is too keep it real. I think that my mother's favorite saying because she always says it; but I've learned that if you keep it real with Him, you allow Him to freely work on your situation. With denial and doubt, you just slam all doors to recovery from any situation. The pic I have posted up is of me and my cousin Tee Tee at the Nets basketball game. I put it up because I feel like it's a real pic of me. No glamor, no glitz, no make up, my hair isn't even done. I want be real with God so I can be real with me, and in turn be real with you. So let's keep it real saints, so we ALL can make it to the Kingdom of God!!!!!
Pray for me as I pray for you all!!!

Love,

Jenise LaVonne

Not Work related but...

Just wanted to send a Congrats out to Carnell "Cadillac" Williams (RB of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers) on the speedy recovery of his right knee. Last September Carnell
tore his patellar tendon, ending his season. Later that week he had
reconstructive surgery and had been rehabbing it until Oct. 22, 2008
when he rejoined his teammates back on the practice field. He was placed on the PUP list for six weeks up until yesterday when he was activated back onto the 53 man roster. Congrats sweetheart!!! I pray that you have a successful season and a continued blessed recovery!! The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 6-3, hoping to make that 7-3 this Sunday against Adrian Peterson and the Vikings.

You Go Girl!!!! CD of the Month

Bold Right Life is this months CD!!! You Go Girl is what I have to say to Ms. KiKi. As a young singer myself I can really appreciate the process that we go through developing our voices and even our spiritual walk. Growth is what Ms. Kierra
Sheard exudes throughout this entire album. She
ain't little Ki Ki anymore. I was especially grateful for this album because there have been to many times that I've picked up a gospel CD and it turned out to be the exact opposite. Kierra sings songs suitable for every crowd on this album. She does what I do and what I like to call Christ Conscience Music. It's fun, upbeat, catchy and exciting but all the while it hits you with a message that is undeniable. Thank God for Jesus, there is hope for gospel music yet!!! GLORY!!!! Wonderful Wonderful job. As my brother would say, "It has the WORD and it Ministers" and allows you to get up and enjoy the music all at the same time! God Bless you Kie, and Keep up the great work. You and you bro JDS (producer/singer/songwriter) have an amazing formula so go with it and allow God to guide you! If you don't have it.. GO GET IT!!!! GRITS "Reiterate" Album Release Party

Last Night I attended Grits' 'Reiterate" album release party. I had such a great time and the guys are true gentlemen. It was in a chic little hotel in Manhattan with a very hip and upbeat attitude. Listening to the album was a whole different experience. This project was definitely a lot different then their others. A lot of fun beats and great lyrics infused with the sounds of many different artists such as Brit Nicole(I'm a big fan), Martha Munizzi, TobyMac, Revolution Art artist JADE, and so many more. Great Great job fellas. I will definitely be having this album in my collection of christian party songs... lol. As I told Grits producer Mo Henderson, with all the different sounds you can definitely dance to it. I really like it (and I'm not even a big christian rap fan). Once again fellas, great job and thanks for all the hospitality!!!!!
Love yall

If you're not on your Jesus Tip... then you need to Step ya Game Wayyy Up!!! Congrats President Obama 08!!!

Lord I just want to thank you!!! GLORY TO JESUS!!! November 4, 2008, I walked into the Jacob Riis Community Center across the street from my house to exercise my right as a an American citizen for the first time. The feeling that I had was of much pride and honor. To look around and see not only the faces of my black beautiful people, but to see the legacy that our forefathers have left for us; to see that what they fought, died, cried, got beating for, begged, and prayed for, to see it unfold right before my eyes was AMAZING!!!! I praise God, that I am here to witness history and to even be apart of it. This election has brought so much hope and pride and love and unity among ALL people, and because of that you CANNOT tell me that this is not the doing of THE MOST HIGH GOD, JESUS CHRIST!!!! GLORYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! LOL.. excuse me but this is just so wonderful. I have never heard in my life so many of my friends, saved and unsaved, worshiping and blessing God!!! I praise God for the events that have taken place because it's all leading up to the return of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ!!!! So saints... if you're not on your Jesus Tip, or How my Pastor Apostle Lymus Johnson says it, "If I've never believed the Bible, I believe it today because it is fulfilling right before us." GLORY TO GOD!!!! So if you don't know Jesus.. I urge you to get to know Him because the signs are being shown and the word is definitely fulfilling. Let us all continue to rejoice in the Lord, look to Jesus and lift up or NEW PRESIDENT Barack Obama and his family in our prayers as he does the will of the Lord.

The Great Forfeit!!!!

This past Saturday I made my way down to the gym like usual, but this time I made it a point to stop and go get a CD I'd been wanting for a while. I was soo excited about this CD. You know how you hear a song on the radio and you say "Oh no, I have to get that CD, I know it's gonna be off the chain!!!" Well I got the CD and Boy was I right!!! Everysong was great!! The lyrics, vocal arragnement, production, everything was just great on it. Through all of my excitement, I had to stop because as excited as I was there was a feeling of diasppointment. In the middle of what was stamped as a "GOSPEL" CD were R&B tracks and inspirational tracks. Now I don't have a personal vendetta against R&B or inspirational music (I actually like and listen to some of it), but I do have a vendetta against the fact that while I'm listening to a so called "Gospel" CD I end up listening to R&B or inspirational music. If I wanted to listen to that, I'd go and buy that. I have a serious problem when my soul is desiring to be fed through music and the only way to get it is to endure a little something else first. What in tha mess is that about??? So as I ran on the treadmill I heard the Spirit of the Lord say "Forfeit, that is where gospel artists forfeit the wholeness of what is promised to them." My Lord!!!!
Why is it that gospel artists bend? Why do we slide in a little somethin somethin here and there? Why do we compromise?? Secular artists stay true to who they are by any means... why don't we do the same when we are suppost to be the salt of the Earth? I am so sick of gospel artists feeling like they've made God cool by turning their hats around or sagging their pants or by becoming the "Gospel Beyonce". GOD DOES NOT NEED OUR ASSISTANCE!!!!!! WE NEED HIM!!! I don't see any gain for Jesus when artists do this, all I see is notoriety for that artist and more money. Ain't that some mess... the more you sell out God, the more wealth and fame you gain!!! And if you're thinking well as artists we have to shape our sound to what's attractive to what's going on today, my response to that is I don't think so. The word says Love and Kindness have I drawn thee, and also the word of God is the same today, yesterday, and forevermore!!! Jesus didn't change His word to fit what we think will sell. So what'll it be folks..... Heavenly or Wordly Gain??? Holla at me yall!!!!

Love,

Jenise LaVonne

Ambassadors for Christ... Fred Hammond CD of the Month

Ephesians 6:19-20
19. And for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel.
20. For which I am an ambassador in bonds; that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

This a a portion of a scripture I read daily. Eph. 6:10-24 is it in it's entirety.

I was talking to my mother the other day before I went into the gym and we were talking about my music and career and things of that nature. I was telling her about my experience singing this past Sunday. I felt like God was definitely pleased. I was asked to sing a solo and I had no idea as to what i was going to sing, so He dropped a song in my spirit that I'd been dying to sing and I really feel like He was glorified. While talking to my mother she said to me, "Jen, you are not a singer.. you are an ambassador for Jesus; and you will not be successful unless you remain Holy before God and walk in His will. You have a divine assignment for an appointed time." I received her words and meditated on one in particular. I looked up the word Ambassador in my bible concordance and the meaning of it there was a messenger. I looked it up on dictionary.com and this is what it said.

/æmˈbæsədər, -ˌdɔr/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[am-bas-uh-der, -dawr] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun
1.
a diplomatic official of the highest rank, sent by one sovereign or state to another as its resident representative (ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary).
2.
a diplomatic official of the highest rank sent by a government to represent it on a temporary mission, as for negotiating a treaty.
3.
a diplomatic official serving as permanent head of a country's mission to the United Nations or some other international organization.
4.
an authorized messenger or representative. Abbreviation: Amb., amb.

Looking at the dictionary definition and the Bible concordance gave me a whole new outlook as to who I am and this gifting God has given me.

Lord, I am not worthy but I gratefully accept who you have called me to be. Lead me and guide me in your way, because without you I WILL fail.

In keeping it real, I'll be honest with you guys. I've been feeling a little down about my career. It seems like every time I get things rolling it seems like things crash and burn. The devil is a liar!!!!! I know that God has called me to this... and I know that it is going to be a fight... but in the words of an independent gospel artist, Mookstar " I won't give up on God's Will, It shall come to and fulfill, I won't give up on God's will and it shall come to pass!!!!" And in the words of an angel sent from Heaven, "What the servant asketh, that shall he be given, knock and the door shall be opened." This is not it for me or the music God has ordained for me to sing...... don't blink because it's coming at you!!!!

11161

In the spirit of Ambassadors for Christ, I've chosen Fred Hammond's Pages of Life CD as the CD of the Month. Fred Hammond is the MAN!!!! and Truly an Ambassador for Christ!!!! His ministry has been a blessing to my life and I'm sure many of yours. Pages of Life is a 2 disc CD (studio and Live) that is truly remarkable!!! Contemporary gospel infusing the traditional that we all know and LOVE!!!! Go get it if you don't have it... YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!!! I remember when I was about 12 I was under a spiritual attack and I was laying in the living room of my house; my dad came home from work and he said that the Spirit of the Lord came to him and told him to play "No Way, No Way you won't loose" from the CD. The spirit of depression was over me heavy and as the lyrics ministered to me it was literally lifted!!! Thank you Jesus and God Bless you Fred for allowing Him to use you!!!!
Pages of Life yall... a Must have in your collection of Gospel Music!

That's all for now.. But you know I'll be back, keeping yall posted on the latest on the Journey of Jenise LaVonne! :)

I just want to sing!!!!!

All my life I've dreamed of being a singer. Taking the stage was always a natural instinct for me, and I've never grown out of it. I get emotional sometimes when I think about a song, or really living in what I know I'm called to do. It is truly apart of who I am. I started singing when I was two years old on the church choir, and now often times people as me if I ever get nervous when I have to sing, and to be honest... I Do. Every time I have to sing I get a ball of nerves down in the pit of my stomach, but as soon as a take hold onto the mic it's gone. Singing to me is like breathing. Making music, and drawing from many different inspirations is who I am and I cannot deny it.
I work in Midtown Manhattan for a nonprofit Jewish organization, doing Data Entry. I've just made a year here at this job and I am very grateful for it!!! It's relatively easy.. you know the usual Data Clerk requirements; filing, answering phones, billing, etc. It definitely pays the bills.... But Oh how happy I'll be when the day comes that I can sing, and write, and create, and minister for a living!!!! That is my desire!!!! I just want to sing. I know that God has called me to this particular ministry and I accept it... but I think Fred Hammond said it best when he said " Sometimes when you are called by God or you're called to do a work for God.. sometimes it just doesn't feel good.". I get an itch from time to time that just makes me want to sing, but the obligations of paying bills and all the other things that are necessary for comfortable living remind me that I it won't be given to me. I praise God in spite of the agonizing pain to want to do something but cannot necessarily do it at the moment... It has made me so much stronger, wiser, and even more hungry to fight and make it happen. So I'm out on the field y'all.. ready to take down any and everything that's there to hinder me from reaching my destiny. The word say "Knock and the door shall be opened", so open up cause I'm knocking!!! Mountains must move... Opportunities have to yield themselves in the Name of Jesus.... Finances, and any other types of provision that need to be made will be met!!! In the name of Jesus Christ I claim it!!!! Because if God before me, who can be against me!!!!
GLORY BE TO GOD!!!!!!
I just want to encourage you all, that if you know God has called you to a particular work and it looks like there is no way that you're gonna be able to do.... Say to yourself, " Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" Philippians 1:6. God has given you the tools to do as He has commanded.. you just need to put them into action!!!!

I'd have to say that my favorite song on the album is Victory!!!! The 80's music influence and creative hook is just amazing!!! I definitely want to redo this song sometime in the near future. When you get a chance go pic up this classic.. you definitely won't be mad you did!

UPDATE!!!!!!!

Hey everyone!!! As you can see I've been adding a bunch of things to the blog... I hope you like :). I just want you all to really have a good feel of who I am and see and experience the journey through the entertainment business with me. So.. with that being said here's an update as to what's been going on!!!

Skye Lab Music Group
On September 16, 2008 I had a meeting with Artie Skye of Skye Lab Music Group and it was great!!!! Basically they're a music production company that's going to help me put together my demo. It was really great to sit down with him and just express what I'd like to have and for him to explain what will be offered to me. I look to begin working on that at the end of next month. GLORY!!!!
http://www.skyelab.com/

Rehearsals
Tomorrow at 7:30 begins the first day of "official" rehearsals. The word says "be ye always ready", so that's what I'm doing. If anyone in the Metro NY area would like to help out in any way, backup singing, rehearsal space, musicians etc... e-mail me and we'll discuss it. lovejeniselavonne@yahoo.com

Acting
I've decided to put my acting on hold just for a while. Music production is expensive and doing both is a bit to much for me right now. Blacknexxus.. I still love you guys, but my music is my ministry therefore it is #1. :(

Lucille Roberts
Yes yes yes, I finally did it. I joined the gym. Now I've been working out faithfully on my own for sometime now, but I felt like it was time to "Upgrade" myself. "This is a Business", were the famous words from Miss Rap Supreme herself Reece Steele.. so I'm taking all of it, right down to my workout habits Seriously!!!!! Step ya Game, cause I'm coming for ya!!!! :)

BUCS
Yessir, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers kicked some Atlanta Falcon Butt last Sunday!!! GLORY!!! 24-9!!! Let's keep this trend Fellaz!

So that's the scoop on what's going on!!! as you can see striving to doing anything is not an easy job, but look forward to the outcome of all your hard work.. it definitely pays off!!!

Going back to the Lab... Christian Rap???

Alright, I have been M.I.A. from the studio since last September and it's about time to get back. I've been corresponding with this music group about producing and putting together some new music for me and I am thoroughly excited about it!!! YAY!!!! If God says the same, I will be back in the lab by the end of this month doing what I do best!!! You guys have no idea what that means to me. My past experiences being in the studio were really trial and error, but I feel like this time I have my head on straight. I know what I'm doing this for, I know what message I want to get across to the masses, and I know how I want to sound. Thank you Lord!!! I just feel like this time is right and nothing and no one is going to stop what's about to go down!!!

I was chillin in the hallway of the building that I live in on Saturday, hanging out like any normal young woman, with my sister and neighbors and we kinda had an impromptu jam session. I was singing like always and one of the fellas was rapping and I sat back and thought about it... Rap. I've never really been a huge fa of Christian Rap or even rap for that matter. In order for me to listen to it there would have to be something that hooks me. I enjoy select rappers such as Juvenile, Rick Ross, The Game, and of course the new boys on the block or how I like to call them, the silly boys of rap, V.I.C., Lil Wil, Dem Franchize Boys.. etc. As far as christian Rap goes, Lacrae and Trip Lee and my college friends formerly know as 3Shades of Faith. Rap has never really had a huge influence on me.. but I always wondered what does God feel about it? There's a lot of controversy surrounding Rap in the church and in the Christian community. What are my thoughts on it? Well... I feel like this. If God has given you a a message through music and you're not a singer.... fine. I feel like Christina rap is often taken to the extreme with these videos of these "Christian Rappers' in wife beaters, rollin up in their Mercedes Benz with madd chains and rings on. What in the world are you doing? I feel like there is no separation from mainstream. All in all, I look at christian rap as preaching to a beat. That's what it should be at least... There is no need for you guys out there to become thugs now for Jesus. LOL... he dosen't care anything about that. Being a thug for Jesus is and oxymoron anyway... LOL... It just doesn't make any since!!!! So if you're a Christan rapper.. Just deliver the message that God has given you. He does not need the help of an iced out chain, baggy jeans, Du rags, grills, and bling and anything else of the sort. LOL..
I think a lot about whether or not I'll incorporate a rhyme in any of my songs.... I don't know yet; But I will pray on it and consult God, because I know that God can use anything he chooses to get the message across.

Jenise LaVonne

Black Nexxus... Current Read.

Black Nexxus

Hey hey hey everyone!!! On this past Saturday I went to my first acting class with Black Nexxus. OMGosh!!! What an experience!!! I'm not gonna front.. I was definitely nervous when I first got there. The class is extremely intense but definitely worth it! My instructor is amazing and so gifted it makes you sick. LOL... He can literally just talk to you and feel out the type of person you are. That was definitely scary. I appreciate him though because in the class he encourages you to fail and mess up so that we (as a group) can help find out what the problem is and work to get the solution. Where else can you keep it that real??? Not even in our own houses or with our own families do we feel free to keep it that real. That's sad but true. Though I have a lot of growing to do and a lot to learn I feel like I am on an excellent path.

Current Read
Currently I am reading The Coldest Winter Ever by Sista Souljah... and I know what you're about to say. "Girl you are so late, that book has been out forever." I know... I read it before, I'm just reading it again. There were rumors going around that Sista Souljah and Jada Pinkett were putting together a movie based on the book. Hopefully that comes together well, and if the movie turns out to be as half as good as the book then you know I'm going to be all over it like white on rice. LOL... It was also said to be a release of the sequal to The Coldest Winter Ever called Midnight: A Gangster's Love Story this October. I'm looking forward to that one as well. For more information on these books and more on Sista Souljah, go to http://www.sistasouljah.com/.

Because I just feel like talking...

Ok, so you're wondering who in the mess is Jenise LaVonne and why am I on her blogspot. Well I'll tell you... I am an emerging singer/songwriter in so called "Gospel" music and I'm also an aspiring actress. You're here.. why? I don't know, maybe you saw me on myspace, heard me sing at a local lounge or church, saw me at a boxing match or HeavyHitter.org, or maybe you just want to hear what I have to say. Well either way, I'm glad you're here because I just feel like talking.
Like I said before I am a "gospel" singer/songwriter and I know you're wondering why I keep putting the word gospel in quotations. Well, in my opinion the music that we have today that is supposed to be gospel is in fact not gospel at all. I mean it's all cool to sing and write music about getting past your struggles, and all the bling and things that you have now that you're on top, but come on... to all of you artists out there that are calling yourselves gospel and not even mentioning Jesus in your music, what are you doing? What happened to songs like Take me Back, We shall Behold Him, My Tribute (To God Be the Glory)? My brother said something to me once that is really sticking with me as I develop as an artist. He said "Jen if you are a gospel singer it can't just be all about being a star. Proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ is a JOB! You can't just say you're singing gospel and do and look and sing about and be just anything. You have a responsibility to God first, to follow His way and then to your audience, to be that example". I had to really swallow that and pray and think and fast and say ok God... it's all or nothing. I will walk in your way, under your conditions, and do as you have called me to do.
I don't want to just sing to you, I want to make you aware of this thing called The Gospel. The online dictionary's definition of gospel is:

Audio Help /ˈgɒspəl/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[gos-puhl] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun
1.
the teachings of Jesus and the apostles; the Christian revelation.
2.
the story of Christ's life and teachings, esp. as contained in the first four books of the New Testament, namely Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

gospel music. –adjective
1.
of, pertaining to, or proclaiming the gospel or its teachings: a gospel preacher.
2.
in accordance with the gospel; evangelical.

The profound message in Gospel music should be JESUS CHRIST!!!! Can we bring it back to Jesus? This time that we're living in offers no stability, or certainty in anything.. but Jesus does.

So here I am on my journey through this music business and entertainment industry. Let's see what happens as I continue to grind and pursue my singing and acting career. I know God has called me to this and I know I can't do this without Him, so.... Here I go... Let's get it, let's get it, Let's get it!!!!

Love,

Jenise LaVonne
