Faith Kicks
This is an evident lesson I'm learning, I'm stressin and tossin and turning, I'm tired of pressin and burning to be and see everything promised to me, I'm praying for hands and knees, making deposits for harvest only God knows I'll see
I can't breathe, I'm panting and pacing running this race in 90 degrees jumping over rocks and trees, feining for any little chance to feel the breeze, I still believe for a chance that this is right, I was born to put up a fight, can't back down now, I keep runnin through the night
Tired and sick and sore, still reaching for the door, STILL rockin my 24
and I cried cause I fell and I thought I couldn't make it, didn't want to give up but didn't realize my placement
I'm humbled and reassured, God gave me another hit
I get up and dust myself off and keep running in my faith kicks.
